Welcome to the Privacy Policy of dermunbound.com, operated by DermUnbound Research Group, led by Dr. Yehonatan Kaplan. Email: yehonatan@kaplanclinic.co.il.
This privacy policy applies to all services operated by us on any medium, including chat, artificial intelligence, or any digital platform.

Providing information
You are not required to provide the information detailed in this policy. Providing information depends on your will and consent. However, if you do not provide current contact details, you may not be able to register for our services.
Deletion or modification of information about you is possible only in accordance with the limitations of the various service providers.

Updating and deleting information
We may not be able to honor requests for updating or deleting information in certain ways without ceasing to provide services. If this occurs, we will notify you.

Artificial intelligence
DermUnbound may operate some services using artificial intelligence. Users acknowledge that when using AI tools, information may be collected by the AI provider and that provider's privacy policy will apply.
Our Docker-based tools process all data locally on the user's machine. No patient data is transmitted, stored, or processed by DermUnbound servers.

General website usage
During browsing, the following information may be collected:
- IP address and browser type
- Device information and screen resolution
- Approximate location
- Usage habits and browsing patterns
- Incomplete actions
If Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is enabled via an environment variable, anonymous analytics may be collected to understand aggregate usage patterns. No personally identifiable information is gathered.

Who we may share information with
External providers used include: cloud hosting (Vercel), Google Fonts for typography, and optionally Google Analytics for statistical analysis. We do not integrate with advertising networks, social media trackers, or data brokers.

Docker Framework
Local-first data processing
The Docker Framework processes all data locally on the user's machine. No patient data is transmitted, stored, or processed by DermUnbound servers. The entire pipeline runs within a Docker container on your own hardware, ensuring complete data sovereignty.
Israeli Privacy Law
Regulatory compliance
DermUnbound operates in compliance with Israel's Privacy Protection Law (חוק הגנת הפרטיות, התשמ"א-1981). The local-first architecture eliminates most cross-border data transfer concerns. By processing patient data entirely on the physician's own infrastructure, the compliance burden associated with cloud-based data processing is significantly reduced.
